Our Easter party with Easter Bonnet Parade was a great success!
Thanks a million for your efforts decorating hats and taking active part in the whole event. Children were talking about it for a long time and they still love looking at the pictures from the party.
A warm welcome to Fiachra and Harriet in Star Room also Lucien,Abigail, Edward and Zac in Planet Room and Aaisha, Tara, Clai, Nykeal, Thomas, Anaya, Victor, Elijah, Ayman and Layan in Rocket Room.
What are we learning about?
Star Room - Planting and Herbs;
Extend our senses: different textures,smells and flavours and observing how herbs grow.
Planet Room - Dinosaurs and Caves;
Where do dinosaurs come from?.... where did they live?......
Rocket Room - Life cycle of Butterflies;
- Letters and Sounds: Alliteration/ Rhymes .........what sound does my name starts with?
what word starts with “a”.....etc?
We would like to develop children’s interests in Boats therefore we will talk about Titanic
as much as about ship’s parts in general.
Healthy Eating Theme is our big ongoing project.
The activities we are planning are: Restaurant Role Play, Writing shopping lists, Discussion about “what is good for our body?”.....etc.
We will organise children’s outing as soon as the weather gets better;
our outing is going to be “Waitrose – groceries shopping: healthy food.”
Gym sessions – “Lets exercise our bodies” are planned as daily routine.
What’s new?
New drawers in Rocket Room, when collecting your child at the end of the day, please check for anything in there.
Monday 23rd will be the start of garden work to develop new surfacing and new look of our playground. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Children safety is very important and we would like you to observe all Notices for Restricted Areas.
We started Infant Massage on Fridays
The babies are getting relaxed together with their mummies. They are enjoying themselves and they love the new experience. If any of you would like more information, please ask Maika.

Fundraising event “DANCE AND WIGGLE”
Fundraising event for “Happy Days” Children’s Charity is Tuesday 15th of May.
All parents are invited to come 4.30 pm to join the party for a fun family Dance Session
We will be collecting £2 per child and if you would like to contribute more, please fill in attached slip.
RECYCLING MATERIALS NEEDED
We would appreciate some donation s for children’s activities such as:
socks, food wrapping, large cardboard boxes, food catalogues, used greeting cards and some toys.
