About Us

At Cybertots we believe in the enormous potential and curiosity of our children. Each child is an individual with their own thoughts, expressions and emotions. This is why at Cybertots we believe it is important to listen to, observe, interact with and learn from each and every one of our children, in order to best support their growth and development.

Our nursery practitioners have been extensively trained to gather and assess this information to help our children better communicate their feelings and guide them in day to day problem solving and understanding the world around them. We follow their interest and in turn they guide us into their own world and imagination. We help our children to develop a sense of identity by valuing their ideas and choices, as well as introducing them to new ideas and experiences through new styles of learning.

Policies & Procedures

Dear Parents, the full nursery policies are available for your consultation in each of the nurseries main reception area. However if you would like to consult them online then you can view the PDFs below:-

Our History

Cybertots was the first nursery in the UK to provide webcams in a nursery so that parents could still see their little ones even if they were at work for longer hours than they would like. This proved a hit, winning Cybertots an DTI award for the best use of new technology in business. Parents also loved the idea of knowing that they could still see their children whenever they wanted and other nurseries soon followed suit. Cybertots’ winning formula of unsurpassed care, a homely atmosphere and competitive prices has seen the company go from strength to strength and since summer 2021, Cybertots now has 5 nurseries in the family.

Nina has since been joined in the business by her children Katya and Martin who help with the overall management of the group and maintains the personal touch that we believe our nurseries provide.

Our Vision

We strongly believe that Early Years lay the foundation for children’s future life and therefore consider the welfare and development of each child paramount. We believe in a child-centred and play-based approach to learning and development where individual characteristics, the diversity of family background, race and culture is valued. We aim to ensure that every child in our care has opportunities to be creative and imaginative, develop curiosity and interest in the world and become an independent, self-motivated and complete individual.

Our Staff

At Cybertots Family, we highly value professional and personal growth and sponsor and actively encourage all practitioners to access continuous development opportunities.

An opportunity came up to be a partner in a newly opening nursery and Nina was excited to be part of it with one very ambitious plan – she wanted to establish a nursery where parents could see their children in real life during the day should they feel the need. Cybertots was the first UK nursery with web cameras allowing parents a glimpse into their little ones’ nursery life.

Nina is also joined by two of her children in the running of the Cybertots nurseries. Katya, Nina’s daughter, joined the Cybertots team while completing her Masters degree in European Public Policy. Initially, she delivered French lessons to the children in the settings and helped out with managing finances. It soon became apparent that in order to grow, Nina would need additional help and Katya made the decision to join the company full time in 2007. Martin, Nina’s eldest son, came on board during the construction of Cybertots at GWQ in 2013, Cybertots largest nursery to date, and provided valuable support as a Chartered Surveyor with a background in Construction, Management and Health and Safety.

Every nursery has a manager and a deputy manager. Safiya, the area manager, oversees all five settings. Between them, they’ve got just over 100 years of childcare experience! All our staff have been thoroughly vetted as part of our robust recruitment procedure to ensure the security and welfare of the children. All have undergone Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, come with good references and have completed both safeguarding and paediatric first aid training.

“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each individual member is the team.”
