The significance of a close-knit relationship between children’s families and their early years educators has been highlighted for centuries. It is one of the greatest joys in our professional work to build strong positive partnerships with you. By supporting parents and carers in their role and complementing the positive aspects of home environment, we create a ‘triangle of care’ between parent, child and practitioner. Such responsive and caring community enables children to thrive and makes the nursery an exciting and happy place.

Footwear
We encourage all children to bring a pair of slippers to wear indoors and a pair of wellies to wear outside, these will be kept at the nursery. Please ensure all items are clearly labelled.
Clothing
We strive to nurture children’s independence. Please be mindful of this when dressing them in the morning. Easy access and being able to quickly take clothes on and off are particularly important when potty training – please choose comfortable tracksuits over dungarees.
Outside Wear
Please ensure children have outdoor clothes to match the weather conditions – there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.
If you are in receipt of funding you will have the option to have consumables included. Should you opt out you will need to provide nappies.
At Cybertots we are a close knit family and try to avoid using agency staff when our usual staff are absent for sickness or holiday.
When staff cover is required, we have staff from our other nurseries come and help. All Cybertots members of staff are DBS checked and inducted and trained to the same Cybertots ethos. This gives you the peace of mind that the care your child is receiving, remains in line with our policies and comes from someone within our family.
Fees are to be paid in advance by the 1st of each month. As an example: September’s fees will be due by the 1st of September. If you are paying by standing order or vouchers, please ensure that fees arrive in our bank by the 1st of the month. Fees received later than the 1st of the month will be subject to a £25 per child per month late payment charge.
As with most nurseries, the fees are calculated over the year by multiplying the weekly fee by the 50 weeks we are open and dividing by 12 months. This is done in order that standing orders can be set up and also enables parents to budget their monthly outgoings more efficiently.
We have various options available to suit different circumstances. You are not obliged to pay any additional fees to access your free entitlement but if you’d like to access all we have to offer we have packages available. Please speak to your nursery manager.
We offer a 5% sibling discount on full time places.
Our registration fee is £80 per child. The registration fee is non-refundable.
The monthly nursery fees are calculated with holiday days during Easter and Christmas already subtracted. Our fees are calculated over 50 weeks divided by 12 months.
The government recommends that nurseries close for staff training for a certain number of days per year. This enables your child to receive the best care possible, as better trained staff are better equipped to help your child develop essential skills. The nursery will give you at least one months’ notice of when a training day is scheduled to take place.
The deposit should be paid as soon as you have decided that you would like to enrol your child at Cybertots. It is credited against your last month with us. Your child’s place is not confirmed until the deposit is paid and as such may be given to someone else. Should you have difficulty with paying the deposit in one instalment, please contact the nursery manager to discuss alternative options.
Yes, we do accept payments by Tax Free Childcare. You can save up to £2000 per year in tax using this method of paying your fees. Please let the nursery manager know the reference for your child in order to allocate payments.
We accept most recognised vouchers although these are being phased out. Please email the nursery manager to find out if we are already registered with your nominated company as we may be able to provide you with a reference number.
We accept the Enjoy Benefits salary sacrifice scheme which may save you more in tax than the Tax Free Childcare scheme. Please speak to the nursery manager if you employer has indicated they are able to offer this.
Whichever form of payment you use, please ensure that it reaches us by the 1st of the month to which it relates.
Children take different amounts of times to settle in and it’s not unusual for children to cry only at arrival and departure times. If you are worried, please speak to your nursery manager who will be able to advise you on the best action to take.
If your child is sick, you should keep them at home until they are well enough to come back to nursery. Please call the nursery by 10am to inform us that your child won’t be coming in so that we know not to expect your child and advise other parents should your child have been contagious. If your child has been prescribed antibiotics your child will be required to wait 48 hours before returning to nursery.
If you are unavoidably delayed and expect to be late collecting your child from the nursery, please contact the setting as soon as possible to inform them so that they can arrange staff cover. Parents collecting children after 6pm (or 1pm for children attending a morning session only) may be subject to a late charge of £1 per minute.
Please let the manager know if your child will not be attending nursery for any length of time. Monitoring children’s attendance and being aware of their whereabouts when absent is part of our safeguarding duty. Fees remain payable during periods of absence.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties please contact your Nursery Manager as soon as possible.
One month’s written notice is required when withdrawing your child from the nursery. We are happy for this notice to be e-mailed, as long as you have received confirmation from the nursery that the e-mail has been received. Should one month’s notice not be given, the deposit will be retained in lieu of notice.
If you would like to share any feedback or raise concerns, please call or email your nursery manager, area manager (safiya@cybertots.co.uk) or director (katya@cybertots.co.uk).
If you would like to book an extra session or cancel an extra session at nursery, please contact your nursery manager in the first instance. 48 hours’ notice must be given if you no longer wish your child to attend the booked extra sessions; otherwise, they will be charged for.
We can offer up to 5 emergency swap days per year, subject to availability. This day swap service is strictly for healthcare and childcare emergencies and does not include bank holidays, nursery closures or funded sessions. A healthcare emergency would include emergency admittance to hospital of either the child or primary carer.
All three and four year olds in England are entitled to 15 hours of funded nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. They remain eligible until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday), though most children start school before this. Funded early education places are available at Cybertots nurseries in England on a space-available basis.
31st March to start the summer term
31st August to start the autumn term
31st December to start the spring term
If your child attends 15 hours per week only, you may be required to attend days and slots decided by the nursery that may be subject to change at short notice to accommodate children who attend on contract. You may also be required to pay for meals and extra activities provided at the nursery.
A parent can use all 15 hours with Cybertots or split the claim over two childcare providers. However, the total claim per child must not exceed 15 hours per week.
If you are on a low income or unemployed and you meet eligibility criteria, your two-year-old may be eligible for a funded childcare place at Cybertots.
This funding covers 15 hours a week (taken over a minimum of three days), 38 weeks of the year and starts the term after your child’s second birthday. Your child will benefit from a safe and happy environment whilst developing their self-confidence and learning language and social skills.
Once your child turns 3, this funding stops and their place will be funded through the three and four-year old funded childcare entitlement should a place be available with us.
To find out if you are eligible for two-year-old funding, please contact your local authority’s Family Information Service.
